Our CSA is a partnership between community members and the farm. CSA Members receive 20 weeks of fresh vegetables between June and October.
By purchasing your farm share in the winter or spring, you provide the farmer with much needed cash when money is tight. CSA shares are always a great value! The earlier you join, the better the value.
Community Supported Agriculture strives to build relationships between you, your farmer, and other members. It is a great way to share the joy of farm fresh food!
As a member you visit the Farm Stand once a week and select 6 or 12 items (depending if you are a 'half' or 'full' share member').
For example, an "item" may be 1 pound of heirloom tomatoes, 1 pound of carrots, 2 salad turnips, 4 cucumbers, 2 lettuce heads, 1/3 pound bag of spinach, 2 large onions.
The selection of available vegetables changes as the season progresses. Here is a list of the over 30 different vegetables we grow each season.
Depending on your eating habits full shares are appropriate for two to four people, and half shares better suited for one or two people.
The selection of vegetables offered changes with the growing season. We plan to include the most popular items as frequently as possible, and things like herbs and less-known vegetables every now and then to keep things interesting.
Members can choose to pick up their shares on Tuesday or Friday between 2 and 6pm.
